flown in Antique contests.
Any aircraft on either list can be flown in a
regular SPA contest. |

This is an ongoing list - we are
always seeking other qualifying models.
Submit documentation to our president at the address
or email below to seek approval
of additional models. The list will be updated when new planes are

Regular SPA Pattern
|
|
Any aircraft model
which meets the SPA aircraft requirements below is
eligible.
- Any pattern
aircraft designed and flown prior to January 1,
1992 is permitted.
- Any design
that meets SPA engine/motor/power/prop
specifications is permitted, although the use of
period correct pattern designs is still
encouraged. See Competition Guide Sec I, pages 3
& 4, Subsections "Aircraft" & "Power".

- Any ARF that
is patterned after a period correct design or
that is similar to planes from that era is
permitted.
- The use of
retractable landing gear is allowed.
- Muffled tuned
pipes are allowed at the discretion of the CD.
